[The Woodlands, TX area] This Project Manager position involves overseeing the project stages for pre-fabricated structures in the industrial/heavy commercial sector, serving as the primary liaison between clients, production & installation teams, and internal resources to ensure projects are completed from manufacturing to installation. The role requires coordinating multiple projects in various stages (lifecycle), ranging from $100K-$3M+ in size and scope. It offers opportunities for professional development through hands-on management of diverse projects, enhancing skills in construction coordination and cost control.
Anticipated salary:
$80,000 - $90,000 base, depending on experience. Benefits include: Health insurance, 401K w/ match, PTO/Vacation Safety-focused culture, professional growth opportunities. Anticipated travel: 10-20%. Office-based position in The Woodlands, TX area Overview Create and Manage Design, Engineering, Manufacturing and Installation timelines Manage schedules, client requests, site requirements Coordinate all sub-contractor related projects (bidding, contract awards, invoicing) Main POC with Clients, Manage all site related issues, provide guidance, trouble-shooting Experience with Estimating methods, Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications Ability to negotiate contract terms & conditions Ability to support and manage multiple projects (likely 10-20, various size and scope) Ultimately responsible for overall success of projects Desired 2/4 year degree in Technical Discipline, or equivalent experience PMP certification is desirable, not required Previous Project Management experience preferred, 3-5+ years Strong Communication skills Experience MS Office Suite (Excel), ERP/CRM software (manufacturing related, Salesforce for example) Position is mostly in an office environment (not a fit for someone needing to be in the field regularly)
