ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager leads the execution of residential painting jobs from the hand-off by our Sales Advisors through final walk-through and project completion. You'll oversee several active projects each week, coordinate resources, and ensure every detail aligns with Spray Tex's promise of a world-class client experience. This is a dynamic leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems, leading teams, and exceeding customer expectations — all while maintaining control over budget, timelines, and quality. You'll manage fast-moving crews, communicate directly with clients, and adapt to challenges in real time. You will be on the road frequently (entirely within Central Texas area), but with flexible scheduling that allows you to create a workflow that works for you and the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own your projects from start to finish, managing scope, budget, timeline, materials, subcontractors, and customer communication Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure successful delivery of services Lead kickoff calls with customers, clarify scope of work, and set expectations for timing, cleanliness, access, etc. Provide real-time updates and changes through our CRM, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless handoffs Be the point of contact for the customer throughout the job — creating confidence and solving issues proactively Conduct quality checks and job site visits, ensuring high standards and safety protocols are met Approve subcontractor payments based on performance and completion Drive and document any necessary change orders or scope modifications Report progress to leadership and identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience in customer service and team leadership 3+ years of project management experience (construction, painting, remodeling, or similar industries preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active jobs Self-starter who is accountable , results-driven , and calm under pressure Comfortable using technology (Google Suite, CRM systems, Zoom, calendar tools, etc.) Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's required Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (usage reimbursed)
