Job Description

Position Overview Power your future with Qualus in our Construction Department as a Field Construction Project Manager. The Field Construction Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that constructability meets Qualus and our client expectations for the quality of each assigned project, compliance within required construction codes, local jurisdictional requirements, budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Employees in this role must have Solar Utility Farm project site experience, and they must have experience coordinating and managing construction work performed by contractors at the project site on behalf of our client. This position reports directly to the Project's PM and requires full integration and alignment with the client's representative. Responsibilities Serve as the Project Site point-of-contact for EPC Contractor, landowners, Subcontractors, Interconnection Utility, and all other Projects Site related activities. Monitor EPC contractor's safety performance. Direct the CM staff to effectively manage the Construction Management Services (CMS). Assist in site review of contractor provided components and acknowledge receipt of Owner supplied equipment. Support Owner in reviewing EPC contractor's compliance with key Project milestones (Mechanical Completion, Substantial Completion, etc.). Provide Daily report by the next working day. Provide Weekly report for the following week. Provide Monthly report by the end of the first week of the following month. Coordinate with EPC Contractor representative to ensure clear and timely communication of issues or changes. Review of EPC Contractors schedule extensions, weather delays, recovery plans, and re-baselines with evaluation review to Owner. Qualifications Technical school and/or bachelor's degree. 7 to 10 years of experience with 250MW + Solar Farm construction projects. Ability and willingness to assist in performing regular field work both indoors and outdoors. Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to document critical reports under the direction of PM. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Valid Driver's license and good driving record.
