About the Role Allied Mechanical is looking for a hands-on Electrical Superintendent who can do it all — estimate work, run jobs from start to finish, keep crews productive and schedules on track, and still put on a tool belt when the project demands it. This isn't a desk role. You'll be a key part of how we win work and deliver it, owning the field from bid to closeout. If you're the type who takes pride in knowing every phase of a project and won't ask a crew member to do something you wouldn't do yourself, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Bid and estimate electrical scopes of work — quantity takeoffs, labor hour builds, material pricing, and subcontractor coordination Run jobs end-to-end: manage schedules, coordinate with GCs and other trades, track labor costs, and hit milestones Keep projects moving — proactively identify delays, material shortages, or scope issues and resolve them before they become problems Lead crews in the field and pick up tools when needed — this is a working superintendent role Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams; direct accurate field installations Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance on all job sites; lead toolbox talks and site safety audits Manage material procurement, equipment staging, and tool logistics to keep the job moving without interruption Mentor foremen, journeymen, and apprentices — hold the crew to high standards of craft, safety, and professionalism Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project to ensure installations meet code and design intent Maintain daily field reports, timesheets, and project documentation
