Position Summary The Project Manager oversees all phases of assigned projects from award through closeout. This role ensures successful delivery by managing schedules, budgets, quality, and coordination between customers, internal teams, and external partners. The Project Manager typically manages four to six active projects and works closely with Sales, Scheduling, Production, and Installation teams to ensure efficient execution. Key Responsibilities Lead project planning, execution, and closeout activities. Collaborate with Sales and Estimating to develop accurate project plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders. Maintain regular communication on project status, schedules, and deliverables. Review and manage contracts to ensure compliance and reduce risk. Coordinate design, drafting, and engineering activities. Manage shop drawings, schedules, technical documentation, & submittals. Develop and communicate master project schedules to production scheduler. Determine production sequencing and launch timing. Evaluate installation scope and recommend in-house or subcontracted solutions. Identify and resolve design, cost, quality, and scheduling issues. Develop and manage project budgets and cost controls. Prepare and negotiate change orders as needed. Support billing and collection processes. Oversee transportation, delivery, and logistics activities. Qualifications Experience and Education - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or project management. - Bachelor's degree in construction management, Project Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Technical Skills Proficiency with Imperial and Metric measurements. Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and materials. Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related design/document management software. Experience with scheduling tools (Gantt charts or similar). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and basic financial analysis. Professional Skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Work Requirements Ability to work standard office and project schedules. Occasional overtime may be required. Occasional travel within the U.S. may be required.
