Full-Time The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential design‑build projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role coordinates clients, designers, trade partners, and internal staff to deliver high‑quality projects on schedule, within budget, and in line with company standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for construction execution and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Manage multiple residential renovation and/or new‑build projects simultaneously from contract through completion Review construction documents for accuracy, constructability, scope clarity, and coordination Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash‑flow projections- Update schedules on Buildertrend weekly Facilitate pre‑construction planning and handoffs from design to production Budget & Cost Control Manage job cost budgets and track all cost commitments and expenditures Review estimates, change orders, and subcontractor pricing for accuracy and completeness Approve invoices, ensure timely billing, and support progress draws Identify cost risks early and implement mitigation strategies Team & Trade Coordination Schedule, and manage subcontractors and suppliers. Order Materials and schedule deliveries. Coordinate day‑to‑day field activities with Superintendents Conduct regular project meetings with internal team members and trade partners Ensure work is performed in compliance with drawings, specifications, and local codes Client Communication Serve as primary client contact during construction- communicate with client through Buildertrend. Lead client meetings and provide regular schedule, budget, and progress updates Manage change order processes clearly and professionally Resolve issues proactively to maintain a positive client experience Quality, Safety & Closeout Enforce company quality standards throughout construction Ensure jobsite safety practices are followed by supervisor. Coordinate inspections and punch lists Deliver completed projects including final documentation, warranties, and owner orientation. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing residential construction projects (renovations and/or custom homes) Experience working in a design-build environment preferred Strong understanding of residential construction means and methods Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors Excellent communication and client-management skills Proficiency with construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, JobTread or similar) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience with high-end residential or occupied renovations Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Projects delivered on or under budget Schedule adherence and milestone completion Client satisfaction and referral generation Quality control and reduced rework Accuracy and timeliness of project documentation What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Paid time off Opportunity to work on thoughtfully designed, high-quality residential projects Competitive pay based on experience Consistent year-round work Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan with employer contribution Short and long-term disability coverage Company profit share Tools and support to do your job well A respectful, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with a well-established company
