Preconstruction Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager to lead the early phases of our construction projects with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Develop accurate construction estimates using HeavyBid and other estimating tools, ensuring all costs are thoroughly analyzed and documented. Lead the bidding process by reviewing project specifications, soliciting competitive quotes, and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure optimal terms. Collaborate closely with project management teams to establish realistic budgets, schedules, and scope of work during the preconstruction phase. Utilize Bluebeam software to review drawings, markups, and revisions efficiently, ensuring clear communication across teams. Perform detailed constructability reviews to identify potential risks or conflicts early, recommending solutions to streamline construction planning. Manage cost control efforts by monitoring estimates against market conditions, adjusting pricing strategies as needed to maintain profitability. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive project proposals that align with project goals and budgets. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, with strong proficiency in HeavyBid and Bluebeam software. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, contract management, and pricing strategies within the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, site management, and project management principles. Hands-on experience with construction site activities and understanding of safety standards is highly desirable. Strong skills in cost control, budgeting, and scope development to ensure projects stay within financial parameters. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Pay:

$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
