Chesterfield, VA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Fuel reimbursement Paid holidays Paid time off Cell phone reimbursement 401(k) matching Qualifications Vendor relationship building Full Job Description Responsibilities and Duties We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Superintendent plays a key role in the project team and is supported with the resources necessary for success.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing all phases of construction projects Collaborating with the Project Manager to resolve constructability issues and scope gaps Participating in final reviews of project scope and schedule Ensuring compliance with owner, landlord, and regulatory requirements to prevent delays and maintain safety Managing daily field operations, including site safety, quality control, progress tracking, and site cleanliness Maintaining accurate and current project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager Understanding and anticipating client needs to consistently exceed expectations Communicating effectively with project teams regarding changes, job conditions, and subcontractor coordination Fostering positive, professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors Managing the punch list process to ensure timely completion Participating in company training initiatives and mentoring assistant superintendents Qualifications and Skills 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, including new construction Experience with self-storage projects Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations Proven experience leading, training, and developing teams Proficiency with construction-related technology Ability to support a growing organization and manage complex project execution Benefits 401(k) with company match Comprehensive insurance coverage Paid time off and company-paid holidays Monthly auto and cell phone allowances Fuel reimbursement Performance-based bonus opportunities
