Salary:
$100,000 - $150,000Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering ground-up commercial or industrial builds and is comfortable managing projects ranging from mid-size developments to large, complex construction efforts. This individual will play a critical role in driving project success while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring operational excellence in the field.

The company specializes in commercial and industrial ground-up construction, delivering high-quality projects through a strong commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction across the Virginia market.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial and industrial ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through completionCoordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and ownership teamsDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controlsOversee field execution to ensure alignment with safety, quality, and production goalsReview construction drawings and specifications for accuracy, scope alignment, and constructabilityAdapt to evolving project conditions, timelines, and change ordersEnsure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety programs, and regulatory requirementsTrack RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation using tools such as ProcoreManage procurement and subcontractor buyout, including long-lead materials and scopesMonitor project progress, financial performance, and field productivityLead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycleOversee project closeout to ensure successful delivery and client satisfactionQualifications5+ years of experience in project management within commercial or industrial constructionStrong experience delivering ground-up construction projects ($5M-$50M range preferred)Proven ability to manage project financials, schedules, contracts, and field operationsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong understanding of safety requirements and OSHA compliancePreferredExperience with self-performing general contractorsBackground in commercial, industrial, multifamily, or hospitality constructionExperience in fast-paced, field-driven environmentsDemonstrated success managing multiple projects or complex builds simultaneouslyCandidates that complete skills assessments and screening questions will receive priority consideration in the hiring process.
