In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all aspects of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision will drive efficiency and safety across all phases of development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to serve our community and collaborate with diverse teams of volunteers to bring innovative visions to life. Responsibilities Lead and manage construction projects, including permitting. project planning, and coordination of volunteers and sub-contractors. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, volunteers, and partner families to facilitate seamless project execution and resolve any issues promptly. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design specifications using blueprint reading skills. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections with Executive Director, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines. Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and sourcing materials while maintaining cost control measures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, change orders, and communication logs for transparency and accountability. Preferred Qualifications
REQUIRED
Class A Contractor License Proven experience in construction site work; management experience preferred. Proven knowledge of reading blueprints and schematics, project planning & scheduling, and permitting processes. Familiarity with construction safety standards, quality assurance practices, and regulatory compliance. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, managing contracts, and liaising with stakeholders such as volunteers and donors. Pay:
