30-Hour Construction Full Job Description Gillmann Services is now hiring Assistant Superintendents for work in Newport News, VA!
Responsibilities:
Ensure work is being installed per drawings and specifications, including all standards for quality control Conduct meetings to include safety and schedule review, update, and forecasting (4 week look ahead) Report directly to the site superintendent and assist with all things necessary Collaborate with all site subs and sub foremen to ensure smooth workflow with minimal restrictions
Requirements :
Previous experience in a similar role (construction specific), overseeing subcontractors, holding meetings regularly, etc. Previous experience with multifamily construction projects - not required but preferred Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 30 Ability to pass a drug and background screening Ability to travel to and from the jobsite daily Ability to work on weekends as needed Uphold the timeline requirements set by the company If you are interested in this position, give our office a call at 304-252-4510!
