Taylor Hollow Construction was founded in the year 2000 and builds primarily in Southwest Virginia. We are a full service, class A contractor that provides responsive customer service, top-quality work, and efficient construction management.
Position Summary:
Taylor Hollow Construction is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to assist the company as needed to successfully execute projects from concept to completion, on time and on budget. This site supervisor position will have a mix of management work and direct work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Must be proficient in all aspects of building Proficient with all necessary power tools Must have a valid driver's license Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Ownership of Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the construction site from planning to close-out Provide a positive can-do attitude to crew and help identify when an employee is not working effectively Work together with subcontractors, supervisors, and inspectors to ensure company procedures and standards are executed on schedule Be able to complete/provide all paperwork expected by supervisor Effective communication and planning with subcontractors Willingness to enforce rules and standards with employees and subcontractors
Competency:
Possess problem solving skills in the trade Have competence and follow instructions well Recognize when assistance is needed and use the company resources accordingly Taylor Hollow Construction is an
