Job Description

General Superintendent - Site / Civil Construction$110,000-$175,000Warrenton, VAA growing heavy civil/site contractor is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects in the Warrenton, VA area. This role requires a high-level field leader with strong experience in total site development and utility construction.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight of multiple job sites, Superintendents, and field crewsLead execution of site development projects including grading, utilities, and infrastructureCoordinate manpower, equipment, and resources across projectsEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with plans and specificationsWork closely with project management, clients, and subcontractorsDrive jobsite safety culture and enforce company safety standardsMentor and develop Superintendents and ForemenQualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent in heavy civil/site constructionStrong background in sitework, utilities, grading, and total site servicesExperience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneouslyAbility to read and interpret civil plans and specificationsProven leadership and team management skillsOSHA 30 preferredBenefitsLong‑term, stable project pipelineHealth insurance and comprehensive benefits packagePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceOpportunity for advancement into senior leadership
