Job Description

About the Role As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will serve as the backbone of our field operations, ensuring that project documentation and financial workflows remain seamless. By leveraging your expertise in contract administration and data management, you will directly impact the efficiency of our project teams and the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities Oversee the lifecycle of project documentation, including submittals, lien waivers, and daily production logs to ensure full regulatory compliance. Drive financial accuracy by auditing project-related invoices and reconciling them against established budgetary frameworks. Facilitate the procurement process by drafting and tracking subcontracts and purchase orders while managing vendor payment cycles. Support revenue operations by verifying daily production quantities and preparing monthly progress billings for timely submission. Maintain high-level organizational standards through meticulous data entry, file management, and proactive administrative support for superintendents. Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure all project stakeholders remain aligned on contractual obligations and deadlines. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in accounting or project administration, ideally within heavy construction. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on precision and detail. Preferred Skills Prior experience working with
VDOT C25
documentation or similar state-level reporting. Background in managing complex contract workflows and lien waiver tracking. Proven track record of improving administrative processes within a project-based team.
