Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil and site development projects throughout Virginia. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have experience with underground utilities, grading, roadway, earthwork, or infrastructure construction and be able to work closely with field teams, engineers, and ownership to successfully deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project performance Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, owners, and field teams Review plans, specifications, RFIs, and change orders Track project costs, forecasting, and progress billing Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are achieved Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction Experience with site development, underground utilities, grading, roadway, or infrastructure projects Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project preferred Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment What's Offered Competitive compensation package Strong project backlog and long-term stability Career growth opportunities Team-oriented culture with strong leadership support Full benefits package including PTO, health insurance, and 401(k) This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager looking to grow with a reputable contractor that values quality, teamwork, and long-term development.
