This role is designed for a proven construction leader with strong field presence, scheduling expertise, subcontractor management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and customer experience. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5+ years of superintendent experience building high-end custom or speculative homes and is capable of independently managing complex projects while collaborating closely with project management, ownership, design teams, and trade partners. Position Summary The Senior Superintendent is responsible for leading all onsite construction activity from site startup through project completion. This individual drives schedule performance, quality control, jobsite safety, subcontractor coordination, and overall field execution while maintaining alignment with company standards, budgets, and client expectations. This is primarily a supervisory leadership role focused on field management, coordination, and accountability. While occasional light material handling or site organization may be required, this is not a tool-belt position. Jobsite Locations Projects are located throughout the Greater Eastside, including: Bellevue Redmond Mercer Island Sammamish Renton Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Leadership & Execution Lead day-to-day field operations for luxury residential construction projects from groundbreaking through final completion Develop, maintain, and proactively manage detailed construction schedules coordinating subcontractors, inspections, labor, and material deliveries Identify schedule risks early and implement solutions to maintain production timelines and project milestones Take ownership of field execution to support established budgetary and operational goals Coordinate closely with project management and leadership to ensure alignment across schedule, cost, design intent, and customer expectations Quality Control & Technical Oversight Interpret and execute construction plans, specifications, engineering details, and municipal requirements with a high level of accuracy Ensure all work meets Cade Hill Homes quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building codes Lead inspections and proactively address deficiencies to achieve timely approvals and successful project turnover Maintain strong attention to finish quality and craftsmanship expected in high-end residential construction Trade Partner & Vendor Management Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and consultants Hold trade partners accountable for schedule adherence, staffing, workmanship, site conduct, and safety compliance Coordinate material procurement, delivery sequencing, storage, and onsite logistics Foster a professional, solution-oriented jobsite culture that promotes accountability and teamwork Safety & Jobsite Standards Own and lead onsite safety culture through daily enforcement, training, documentation, and proactive risk management Conduct and document regular safety meetings and ensure OSHA-compliant jobsite practices Maintain organized, clean, and professional jobsites that reflect Cade Hill Homes standards and brand presentation Customer & Team Communication Communicate professionally and effectively with homeowners, neighbors, consultants, municipal officials, and internal team members Support a high-touch customer experience through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail Escalate challenges appropriately while demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities Mentor junior field staff and contribute to the development of construction processes and standards as the company grows Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent managing high-end custom or speculative residential construction projects Proven ability to independently manage multiple phases of luxury residential construction Strong understanding of residential building systems, sequencing, scheduling, and construction best practices Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, engineering documents, and specifications Working knowledge of municipal inspection processes and residential code requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments Experience with construction scheduling and project management software is preferred Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are considered an asset Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical activities associated with active construction sites, including standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 pounds Ability to navigate uneven terrain and active jobsites safely in varying weather conditions Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel between jobsites Ability to occasionally transport or coordinate movement of small materials and supplies as needed Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $85,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications Discretionary annual performance bonuses Benefits Include Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off About Cade Hill Homes Cade Hill Homes was founded in 2020 by a local industry expert with more than 17 years of experience in residential development and luxury homebuilding.
