This role is vital in ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets. The Civil Superintendent will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver high-quality results while maintaining strict safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive large-scale infrastructure projects and contribute to the development of critical facilities. Duties Lead on-site construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to plans, schedules, and safety protocols Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed Review plans, specs, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design specifications Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, controlling expenditures, and coordinating procurement using B2W, Heavybid, or comparable estimating tools Enforce safety standards by conducting regular site inspections in compliance with OSHA regulations and maintaining a safe work environment Oversee quality control processes, ensuring construction work meets industry standards and client expectations Coordinate with project teams on contracts management, scope changes, and procurement activities while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and B2W for project documentation, measurement verification, and quality assurance Supervise on-site personnel by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a productive team environment Conduct regular site meetings to communicate progress updates, address issues promptly, and ensure alignment with project goals Manage foreman respectably and communicate regularly to ensure clarity and expectations on jobsites Skills Extensive experience in construction management with a focus on civil projects including pipelines, excavation, trenching, and earthwork. Proven supervising experience leading large construction crews on heavy civil sites Strong knowledge of construction scheduling software and management tools like ProCore or Bluebeam Skilled in reading plans, specs, and technical drawings for accurate execution of plans Familiarity with construction estimating techniques using HeavyBid or similar software for budgeting purposes Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety compliance Ability to manage contracts effectively while coordinating procurement activities within project timelines Proficiency in using tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing and quality control inspections Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising teams successfully in fast-paced environments Knowledge of construction site experience including pipeline projects or heavy civil development Join our team as a Civil Superintendent if you're passionate about leading impactful projects that shape communities!
