Job Description
Reports to: Program Manager | Program Director (as needed)
Qualifications:
-Experience :
o Minimum of 2 years working with vulnerable population. o Experience supervising direct care workers strongly preferred. -Required Skills :
o Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. o Must have the ability to clearly communicate through text-based communications. o Ability to manage complex operations and crisis response o Skilled in navigating sensitive or high-risk situations, including crisis intervention and care coordination. o Ability to work collaboratively with Program Managers and Directors, state agencies, community partners, and internal teams. - Required Clearances and Certifications o Must pass all background checks according to state regulations o Must be certified in:CPR, First Aid, AED, BBP, and Right Response Description:
BRS Weekend Supervisor provides oversight to our BRS program on the weekend, ensuring consistency of standards and practice in the absence of a Program Manager or Assistant Manager. Weekend Supervisors will have a deep commitment to providing quality care to our residents and strong support to Direct Support Professionals. Weekend Supervisors will assist in the maintenance of accurate records, scheduling appointments, and implementing treatment plans. A Weekend Supervisor must have exemplary interpersonal skills as they lead their DSPs in the absence of the Program Manager, work directly with their residents, and professionally communicate with those both inside and outside of The Source. Weekend Supervisors possess a clear understanding and commitment to the vision and mission of The Source. They maintain missional alignment by carrying out the directives of the Program Manager and lead their staff by example and with integrity. In addition to internal rules and regulations, a Weekend Supervisor will maintain an in-depth knowledge of the state rules by which we are governed, ensuring that our programs operate with compliance and excellence when under their supervision. A Weekend Supervisor is a proactive problem solver, and will contribute to excellent resident and staff experience during the weekend.Salary Classification:
The Weekend Supervisor is part of the management team at The Source. This position will work in collaboration with the other members of the managers team. The Weekend Supervisor role is a full-time, hourly position.Expectations:
The Weekend Supervisor must regularly exhibit integrity, character, and honor while performing all duties at The Source. The Weekend Supervisor carries the heart and vision of The Source, operating in a competent and professional manner, while upholding the values of The Source in the areas of faith, stewardship, regulatory control, administration, and development. The Weekend Supervisor will work alongside other members of the management team ensuring the overall health of The Source is maintained.Job Duties:
At the direction of the Program Manager, the Weekend Supervisor is responsible for aiding in the management of the program.Duties may include:
-Program Management:
o Manage program to ensure safe, therapeutic, and compliant operations. o Directly supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure standards of care are being upheld and duties are being fulfilled. o Communicate with your Program Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure consistent and complete program oversight during the weekend. o Provide on-call services as scheduled o Maintain communication with directors, administrators, and DSPs. o Communicate staffing needs and concerns with the Program Manager. o Oversee care coordination, ensuring all children or youth served attend scheduled appointments, services, and supports. o Maintain adherence to data collection procedures on the weekend (daily logs, IRs, goal trackers, mileage, etc.) o Implement directives from Program Manager - Resident Support o Ensure residents receive all planned meals on time. o Supervise the implementation of a resident's treatment plan with care and clarity. o Ensure that rules and disciplinary protocols are understood and enforced. o Ensure each resident's daily schedule is coordinated with clarity. -DSP Support:
o Act as a mediator in minor DSP disputes or interpersonal dissonance while promoting an environment of peace and respect. o Create an environment of peace and unity where discord is neither welcomed nor tolerated. o Ensure DSPs receive consistent support, encouragement, and correction while under your supervision. o Regularly assess your DSPs needs, condition, and morale to respond as appropriate. o Clearly communicate expectations and standards through both words and example. - Facilities Stewardship o Ensure protocols to maintain clean and compliant facilities are carried out. o Ensure protocols to maintain clean and compliant vehicles are carried out.Job Type:
