Innovative Home Renovations (IHR) is a leader in the residential remodeling industry, dedicated to transforming homes with creativity and precision. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and service, and we are looking for a talented Drafter to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Residential Remodeling Drafter with extensive experience using Chief Architect software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the residential remodeling industry and a comprehensive understanding of Seattle's residential building codes and regulations. This role requires in-office presence for 16 hours a week, split over 2 to 3 days. Requirements Utilize Chief Architect software to create detailed and accurate plans. Collaborate effectively with interior designers, structural engineers, and other team members. Ensure all designs comply with Seattle's residential building codes and regulations. Produce technical drawings, elevations, site plans, and plan sets required for permit applications. Maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting and design work. Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with team members and clients. Stay updated with the latest construction methods and materials.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with Chief Architect software. 3+ years of drafting for residential remodeling or architecture. In-depth knowledge of Seattle's residential building codes and regulations. Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with construction methods and materials. Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, elevations, site plans, and plan sets required for permit applications.
