  • Heavy Industrial Electrical Construction , you will lead the field execution of complex, commissioning‑intensive electrical projects supporting: Oil & Gas and petrochemical facilities Industrial EPC projects and processing plants Power generation and renewable energy facilities Hydroelectric stations and balance‑of‑plant systems Data centers and mission‑critical infrastructure You will provide hands‑on leadership across all phases of construction—championing safety, driving productivity, ensuring quality, and partnering with internal teams and clients to deliver projects efficiently and flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities Lead and champion safety excellence across all project phases, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Support preconstruction and planning , including: Field site walks and constructability reviews Risk identification and mitigation planning Construction sequencing and means‑and‑methods development Participate in estimating and bid‑development by: Providing productivity metrics and constructability input Recommending manpower, equipment, and resource strategies for large‑scale industrial and power projects Partner with Superintendents, General Foremen, and Foremen to: Schedule crews, tools, and equipment for optimal efficiency Reduce downtime in high‑cost, schedule‑critical environments Collaborate with Project Engineers and Project Managers to: Maintain schedule alignment and progress tracking Support execution through commissioning, energization, and turnover Lead work in commissioning‑heavy environments , including testing, startup, and client turnover Why Michels Power, Inc.? What It Takes High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial or power‑related electrical construction OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IBC codes and standards Proven ability to interpret complex electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and specifications Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Background as a General Foreman or Superintendent Experience with medium‑voltage systems (13.8kV and above) Exposure to power generation, hydroelectric, or data center electrical systems Experience with generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and paralleling equipment Participation in BIM coordination (Navisworks / Revit preferred) Proven success in commissioning‑intensive, schedule‑critical projects Join a company that powers progress.
