Lead landmark commercial construction projects across Wisconsin with a commercial builder known for strong teams, trusted relationships, and doing work the right way. Pepper Construction Wisconsin is hiring experienced Superintendents in Madison and Milwaukee. We are seeking experienced Superintendents to lead complex commercial construction projects across Wisconsin. At Pepper, we live our values every day: We do the right thing. We find a way. We care. What You'll Do Lead all field operations from preconstruction through closeout
Build and maintain safe, high-performing jobsites where safety is never compromised
Develop and manage project schedules, including short-interval planning
Coordinate and direct subcontractors and field teams
Drive quality, production, sequencing, and daily execution
Partner closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and trade partners
Anticipate and resolve field challenges proactively and professionally
Manage labor, equipment, and material performance to achieve project goals
Mentor and develop other Superintendents and field staff
Represent Pepper with professionalism and integrity on every project What We're Looking For Proven experience leading commercial construction projects in the field
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and safety practices
Ability to lead teams, build trust, and hold high standards
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing projects approximately $10M+ preferred
Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent field experience preferred
Senior Superintendent candidates typically bring 15+ years of progressively responsible field leadership experience Why Pepper Family-owned culture with long-term stability
