Job Description

Company Overview Americon is a self-performing General Contractor that performs multiple contract types (design-build, Construction Manager, and traditional lump-sum). We design and build multi-family/assisted living facilities, office buildings, churches, agricultural structures, industrial buildings, and much more! Our project/contract prices range from $1,000 to $50 million dollars. Americon is a construction and development firm that builds relationships from instilling confidence. Since 1980, Americon has constructed almost every type of building imaginable, while retaining and developing some of the finest craftsmen possible. Job Summary We are seeking a Project Manager that has knowledge within multiple construction areas and who prides themselves on their ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to complex problems to join our team. The candidate must be highly organized, professional, excellent communicator, efficient, self-starter, and a hard work ethic. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Estimating, budgeting, RFI, Submittals, closeouts, and etc.
  • Contract management
  • Manage manpower accordingly with each superintendent for each project
  • Inspect and audit construction sites to ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards
  • Expedite project schedules with superintendents
  • Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers/Architects, Sub-Contractors, and Owners
  • Conduct safety/environmental training on quality control measures, safety protocols, and best practices
  • Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to monitor construction activities and verify compliance with project requirements
  • Run project progress meetings
  • Assist in whatever capacity necessary in order to provide the best possible quality product and completion is on schedule/budget
  • Required travel to company job sites and locations Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field experience
  • Proven experience as a leader in the Commercial Construction industry
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent communication and strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and propose solutions
