Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional results while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and construction specifications. Responsibilities Lead daily on-site operations, supervising construction activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans, ensuring accurate implementation. Manage subcontractors and vendors, coordinating schedules, deliveries, and quality standards to meet project deadlines. Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety audits on-site. Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets design specifications and industry standards. Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and progress updates. Drive and operate construction trailers (open and enclosed - no CDL required) Requirements 7-10 years of experience in residential and commercial construction Strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and concrete systems Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors Comfortable speaking with clients and managing expectations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions in the field Valid driver's license; ability to transport construction trailers Based in Bridgeport, WV, with familiarity of the North Central WV area (Morgantown to Bridgeport)
