Competitive, DOE About Us New Peak Construction Company/New Peak Homes is a rapidly growing homebuilder and developer with offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Rexburg, Idaho. We specialize in custom, high-quality single-family and multifamily residential construction, as well as commercial development, throughout Southeastern Wyoming and Eastern Idaho. We value integrity, precision, and disciplined execution in every project we undertake. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through final completion, ensuring financial performance, scheduling accuracy, and overall project execution align with New Peak's standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented leader with extensive experience in single-family, high-density residential, and commercial construction, a proven ability to manage budgets and timelines through complex build cycles, and a track record of strong communication, subcontractor coordination, and proactive problem-solving throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Oversee projects from pre-construction planning through project closeout Develop and manage detailed project schedules and milestones Prepare, track, and manage project budgets and cost reporting Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project plan Manage contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting systems Support inspections, punch lists, and final project closeout Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar leadership role Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred (not required for candidates with significant experience) Strong knowledge of residential, multi-family, and/or commercial construction methods Experience managing single-family, multifamily residential, and/or commercial projects Proven experience in budget management and cost control Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Familiarity with JobTread, Monday.com, or similar software Strong leadership and communication skills Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards Valid driver's license with good driving record Ability to pass a background check (required) Comfortable with basic technology Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus Physical Requirements Must be able to visit and navigate active construction job sites in all weather conditions Must be able traverse uneven terrain and climb stairs/scaffolding in all weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for long periods Why Join Us?
