Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Storm Inspector, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of storm-related infrastructure. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction inspection, quality control, and data collection within the storm management and pipeline sectors. As a key contributor, you'll support construction projects by inspecting storm systems, reading schematics, and verifying adherence to blueprints and contracts. Your proactive approach will help maintain high standards of quality and safety across construction sites, making a tangible impact on community resilience during storm events. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of storm infrastructure and pipeline systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project scope and technical requirements Collect accurate data on construction progress, quality control measures, and site conditions for reporting purposes Assist senior inspectors in performing quality inspections and identifying potential issues early in the construction process Support construction management teams by documenting site activities, tracking progress, and maintaining detailed records Perform visual assessments of construction sites to verify adherence to design plans and schematics Participate in analysis of inspection findings to recommend corrective actions and improve overall project quality Qualifications Basic understanding of construction processes, site safety protocols, and quality control principles Experience or familiarity with construction inspection, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Strong analysis skills to evaluate site conditions against project plans and specifications Ability to collect, organize, and report data accurately in a fast-paced environment Construction site experience or related fieldwork is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of contracts, construction management practices, and pipeline systems is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to develop their expertise in storm infrastructure inspection while contributing to critical community projects.
