Key Responsibilities Perform daily on-site inspections of construction/maintenance projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards. Provide Quality Assurance, Construction Management, and Construction Inspection Services Support Provide inspection Services and tracking for Preventative Maintenance activities Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and processes used on construction sites in alignment with DoD, and commercial/industrial standards. Document and report inspection findings, including deficiencies or non-compliant work, and follow up to ensure corrections are made. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address any construction issues or deviations from project plans. Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and contracts to ensure alignment with project requirements. Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of all inspections, tests, and related activities. Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Education, Experience and Requirements High School Diploma/GED (Required). Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 10 years' experience in facilities engineering, construction, and/or repair experience in quality assurance and inspection of facilities (Required) and 5 years of specialized experience in the various general disciplines involved in the engineering/repair of facilities at a large military installation (Required) Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards (required). Certification as a Construction Inspector (e.g., ICC, ACI) (preferred). Proficiency in interpreting technical plans, blueprints, and project specifications (required). Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
