Certified Home Inspector Premier Inspector Group Mesa, AZ Job Details Full-time | Contract $4,000 - $10,000 a month 20 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Report writing Residential construction Mid-level Inspection reporting and documentation Schedule management Driver's License Driving Equipment maintenance Communication skills Mobile devices Full Job Description Certified Home Inspector - Phoenix Metro (Premier Inspector Group) About Premier Inspector Group Premier Inspector Group is a multi-inspector home inspection company serving the Greater Phoenix area, built by inspectors who care about thorough work, clear communication, and doing right by our clients. We partner closely with real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to deliver detailed, easy-to-understand inspection reports that support confident decisions. We are growing and looking for a professional, client-focused Home Inspector who wants to be part of a team, not just "a guy with a ladder and a truck." If you take pride in your work, manage your time well, and enjoy helping people, we want to talk to you. --- Job Overview As a Home Inspector with Premier Inspector Group, you will perform residential inspections across the Phoenix metro area, evaluating the overall condition and major systems of homes for buyers, sellers, and investors. You will use industry-leading software (Spectora or similar), modern tools, and a proven process so you can focus on what matters: doing a thorough inspection and clearly explaining your findings. This role is a fit for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently in the field, and confident speaking with clients and agents. You'll have office and scheduling support behind you, so you can spend your time inspecting, not chasing paperwork. --- Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive home inspections on residential properties, including roof, exterior, structure, interior, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and built-in appliances. Follow Arizona Standards of Practice and Premier Inspector Group's internal procedures to ensure consistency and quality on every inspection. Use inspection software on a tablet or mobile device to document observations, capture photos, and generate clear, well-organized reports—typically same day. Communicate findings to clients and real estate agents in a calm, professional manner, helping them understand issues, severity, and next steps without causing unnecessary alarm. Manage your daily schedule, drive to inspections across the Phoenix metro area, and arrive on time prepared with the right tools and PPE. Maintain your tools, vehicle, and equipment in good working order and represent the company professionally on-site and in the community. Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and periodic ride-alongs or quality reviews to continuously improve skill and consistency. Offer add-on services (e.g., termite/WDI, pool/spa, sewer scope, thermal imaging, etc.) if licensed/qualified, or coordinate with partner vendors when applicable. --- Qualifications Arizona Certified Home Inspector license (or in-process with a realistic timeline to complete). Prior home inspection experience strongly preferred; related experience in residential construction, trades, or building science is a plus. Solid understanding of residential building systems and components, with the ability to recognize defects, safety hazards, and deferred maintenance. Comfortable using mobile apps, cloud-based software, email, and digital scheduling tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical issues in plain language to non-technical clients. Spanish Bilingual Candidates strongly preferred. Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to work throughout the Phoenix metro area (some driving between inspections is expected). Physically able to access roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other tight or elevated areas in a safe manner. --- What We Offer Competitive pay structure with the opportunity to increase earnings as your schedule and skillset grow. Consistent scheduling support so you can focus on inspections instead of chasing leads and paperwork. Modern inspection tools and software, plus templates and processes that make inspections efficient and reports easy to read. A supportive team environment where inspectors share knowledge instead of competing with each other. Ongoing training, mentoring, and opportunities to add new services and certifications over time. --- Schedule Full-time, primarily daytime inspections, including some weekends based on client and agent demand. Start and end your day from home, traveling directly to inspection sites.
