Job Description

Brown & Co. Property Inspections is a modern, full-service, family-owned home inspection company based in Peoria, Arizona. We serve the Phoenix metro area and seek a motivated and positive inspector to join the team . Brown & Co. is not your average inspection company

Our owner and Certified Master Inspector, Jim Brown, shares his expertise by teaching his own home inspection CE class to real estate agents, as well as providing mentorship and training to new inspectors just completing their training. Our co-owner, Amanda Brown, implements dynamic and modern marketing techniques typically only seen in other industries. Our team is comprised of the most knowledgeable, professional, and highly trained inspectors in the valley. Most importantly, we are deeply rooted in our values of family, integrity, and community. We believe strongly in getting into our communities, giving back, and providing the highest quality property inspection experience possible. We love homes and genuinely enjoy the process of teaching people about their purchase. We are committed to investing our time and energy into an individual who is willing to strive to be the best home inspector they can be.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • DO NOT APPLY IF YOUR RESUME DOES NOT REFLECT HOME INSPECTOR LICENSE.
  • Licensed Home Inspector with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration.
  • InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector designation (or in the process).
  • Ability to travel throughout the valley for inspections in a dependable vehicle. Valid driver's license and insurance required.
  • Possesses professional tools needed for performing basic home inspection & willing to purchase additional tools for advanced training in the future.
  • Positive attitude. This cannot be stressed enough. Client and agent relationships are our top priority, as well as a positive working relationship amongst the team.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to our standards, and stay current with building methods and continuing education.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Proficient with technology. We use Spectora reporting software which is highly intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Punctual. Must arrive to scheduled inspections on time, every time.
  • Professional in appearance.
  • Ability to climb ladders into attics, on to roofs, etc. Able to carry heavy objects.
  • Strong sense of integrity and work ethic.
