Inspection Tech

Inspection Technician Position Summary The Inspection Technician has the most important responsibility of ensuring all systems are ready to pass inspections; this includes walking City/County officials through a recently installed and ready-to-go solar system, and fixing any issues that may arise during the inspections! Responsibilities:

Communicate with inspectors to ensure efficient installation Communicate with with coordinators/ managers Solve any issues that may arise regarding code and installs (this requires electrical knowledge on how to fix said issues) Examples Breaker swaps Grounding/bonding Tie-ins Wire management Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectors Help county/city inspectors with accessibility problems Coordinate and perform pre-inspection and on-site problem solving to ensure compliance with policy

Qualifications:

Some electrical background Strong communication skills with multiple parties utilizing technology Strong analytical, creative, problem solving, and interpersonal/human relations skills Comfortable being and working on roofs Work well with others that are on your work team Must have a valid state driver's license Must have a clean driving record Comfort with using technology (computer, phone, email, etc.)
