Job Description:
We are looking for candidates with experience providing civil construction inspection for projects pertaining to water/wastewater, aviation, transportation, buildings, and/or parks and more on projects in our project portfolio all over North Bay, San Francisco, East Bay and Peninsula. Candidates must demonstrate a first‐rate work ethic, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Inspector shall perform all duties on-site required for Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for the designated project.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ability to work within project and program team environments. Conduct visual inspections of work performed for adherence to contract documents including specifications and standards. Prepare project documentation including daily reports, force account tracking sheets, materials testing and field quality assurance reports, progress photos, and other construction records. Attend trainings as needed. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Work environment:
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Requirements/Qualifications:
5+ years experience (MEP, Electrical, Structural, Civil Inspection) on public works projects 10+ years in construction industry Experience working for another Construction Management firm on public infrastructure projects locally is a plus Experience on water or wastewater projects is preferred Proficient in computer programs and software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work to strict deadlines. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job. Can work efficiently autonomously on a project. Accreditations, Certifications, and/or relevant licenses are preferred. Strong character, a positive attitude, and the desire to be a part of a fun, growing company is a must! Strong references
