In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing PV project plansets, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building department/AHJ codes, and project specs. Your expertise will help streamline project approvals, enhance quality control & assurance, and support the successful deployment of solar energy systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy initiatives while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive reviews of solar plansets, including schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify accuracy and completeness. Ensure all plans comply with relevant construction codes, safety standards, and project requirements. Perform quality control inspections on plansets to identify discrepancies or potential issues before construction begins. Analyze construction documents and schematics to assess feasibility and identify risks related to pipeline routing or structural integrity. Collaborate with construction management teams, engineers, and contractors to resolve plan discrepancies or design conflicts. Collect data related to plan revisions, inspection results, and quality metrics for reporting purposes. Review contracts and specifications to confirm adherence to project scope and contractual obligations. Experience Proven experience in construction inspection or review within the renewable energy or construction sectors. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles. Familiarity with quality control and quality inspection procedures on construction sites. Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating technical documents and identifying potential issues early in the planning process. Hands-on experience with pipeline installation or infrastructure projects is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings related to solar projects, including electrical schematics and structural plans. Prior work experience involving data collection, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols is highly desirable.
Pay:
$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
