Job Description

Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) TS/SCI CI-Poly IDS International paid holidays, sick time, 401(k) United States, Colorado, Aurora May 12, 2026 CSTwith TS/SCI Clearance with CI-Poly Aurora, CO Join IDS International's Cleared Programs team supporting secure and mission-critical environments. The Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) supports construction security operations within a cleared environment by monitoring site activities, analyzing construction designs, and identifying potential security vulnerabilities. This role operates on an active construction site and requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, apply knowledge of surveillance detection principles, and document findings. The CST is responsible for maintaining continuous observation of construction processes and ensuring adherence to security requirements. Key Responsibilities Operate inspection and surveillance equipment Utilize knowledge of construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering Read and analyze construction designs and blueprints to determine intended use Analyze structural designs and complexities that may conceal unintended or unauthorized purposes Apply knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and surveillance detection principles Write detailed reports in English documenting findings, issues, and security situations Maintain daily logs during assigned shifts Required Qualifications
Clearance:
Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) required
Citizenship:
U.S. Citizen
Age:
21 years or older •Note this is a government, not a company, requirement.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Construction security surveillance Technical surveillance countermeasures Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence Construction quality assurance Supervisory construction experience Experience using alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices, and closed-circuit television systems Experience using alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices, and closed-circuit television systems Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints Ability to analyze designs and structural complexities Knowledge of construction disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering) Knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Familiarity with IC Tech Spec, Version 1.5.1 for
ICD/ICS 705
Ability to communicate effectively in English and produce written reports and analyses
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods of time Position may require occasional lifting and/or movement of moderate amounts of weight, depending on assignment requirements Preferred Qualifications Active CST certification Prior experience with NRO or NSA within the past 12-18 months for crossover suitability Work Schedule & Conditions

Hours:
Guaranteed 40 hours per week Overtime may be available or required. Flexibility may be required based on project needs. Compensation & Benefits
Rate:
$ 56.00 per hour Adjusted hourly rates and daily per diem may be available for non-local and/or travel assignments.
