Job Description

Are you interested in opportunities to work throughout beautiful Colorado and the Four Corner States? Are you tired of getting in stuck in the same position with lack of growth opportunities? Our projects are located throughout Colorado, and the Four Corner States. Relocation and overnight travel is optional. Positions are available in Denver, Colorado Springs / Pueblo, and Northern Colorado. Escalante Construction Management and Engineering, Inc (ECME) is seeking resumes for upcoming projects from experienced highway and bridge construction Materials Testing Technicians. Experience in highway/roadway and/or heavy civil construction is required. CAPA / LabCAT Asphalt A & B are required. Assignments are full time, fixed duration. Strong written and oral communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Gmail; prioritize work deadlines; work independently and as part of a team. Ideal candidate will have proven problem solving and documentation abilities, and also have broad knowledge of transportation and highway construction practices, methods, and processes, with experience with measuring field quantities and inspection for concurrence with plans and specifications. PMWEb, ATSER experience, and DOT experience is preferred. Willing to train the right candidates. Physical abilities to work outside and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
