Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Geotechnical Technician and play a vital role in advancing infrastructure projects through precise data collection, rigorous quality control, and detailed analysis. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, perform critical inspections, and contribute to safe and sustainable development initiatives. You will be instrumental in supporting geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and construction monitoring to ensure project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Conduct on-site data collection during geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, testing, and logging Perform laboratory testing of soil, rock, and concrete samples to assess material properties and ensure quality standards are met Assist with construction site inspections to verify adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality control measures Support concrete forming processes and masonry work by monitoring material placement and curing conditions Maintain detailed records of field activities, laboratory results, and inspection reports for project documentation Collaborate with engineers and contractors to analyze test data and provide insights for construction decisions Conduct quality inspections of materials and workmanship throughout various phases of construction projects Skills Laboratory experience with soil, concrete, or rock testing methods Construction site experience with a focus on geotechnical or civil projects Strong understanding of quality control procedures and quality inspection techniques Ability to collect accurate data and perform detailed analysis of test results Knowledge of construction practices including concrete forming, masonry, and general site operations Familiarity with contracts, specifications, and construction inspection standards Excellent communication skills for reporting findings clearly and effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in geotechnical engineering while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects.
