We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC & Layout Coordinator for a high-end ground-up resort project in Naples, Florida. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all electrical installations meet project specifications, NEC requirements, quality standards, and inspection readiness throughout every phase of construction. Primary Responsibilities Quality Assurance / Quality Control Perform routine field inspections of electrical installations throughout all phases of construction. Review work prior to inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, NEC requirements, and project standards. Verify quality and completeness of installations before concrete pours, wall close-ups, ceiling close-ups, and final inspections. Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with field supervision. Maintain QA/QC documentation, punch lists, and inspection records. Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Inspectors to ensure successful project execution. Conduct periodic audits of installed work to verify adherence to company quality standards. Assist with project closeout documentation and final quality verification. Layout & Field Engineering Utilize Trimble layout equipment and software to provide accurate field layout for electrical systems. Perform layout for slab rough-in installations, underground conduit systems, equipment locations, wall rough-in, and interior electrical systems. Verify layout dimensions against contract drawings and BIM models when applicable. Coordinate layout activities with project management and field crews. Assist in identifying potential conflicts prior to installation. Maintain layout records and ensure field accuracy throughout construction. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience. Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial construction practices. Previous experience performing electrical quality control inspections preferred. Experience operating Trimble layout equipment required. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Ability to work independently and proactively identify issues before they impact project progress. Preferred Qualifications Ground-up commercial or hospitality project experience. Previous experience on large-scale resort, hotel, healthcare, or mixed-use projects. BIM coordination or layout experience. Electrical license or relevant certifications a plus.
