Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Marine Construction Worker, where you will play a vital role in executing complex marine infrastructure projects, such as building docks, seawalls, installing boat lifts, and doing repairs. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks to prepare and maintain construction sites. Assist with marine-specific tasks such as shoreline stabilization, pile driving, and dock/deck carpentry. Conduct utility locating to identify underground utilities and prevent damage during excavation activities. Support paving operations and ensure proper compaction and surface quality for marine access roads or pathways. Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and documenting site conditions regularly. Assist in site setup, demolition, cleanup, and project-specific tasks to ensure smooth workflow progression. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks in construction settings. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on marine or shoreline projects is highly desirable. Knowledge of utility locating techniques and familiarity with underground utility systems. Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures. Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in heavy equipment operation are preferred.
