• is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
• CEI Senior Building Inspector
• to join our Transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) team in Tampa, Florida.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: + Being fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the building construction to include masonry work and familiarization with the local and State building codes and ordinances + Performing under the general supervision of the Project Administrator + Relying on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals + Setting own project deadlines + Providing on the job training to new employees + Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties + Performing daily field inspections and maintaining inspection records + Participating in punch lists, testing, and commissioning + Tracking quality assurance progress + Providing input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers + Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance and timely resolution of issues + Conducting regular safety inspections and enforcing safety protocols on construction sites + Reviewing and interpreting complex construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents + Preparing detailed inspection reports and maintaining accurate project documentation + Participating in project meetings and providing expert advice on construction methods and materials

• Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:

• + High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education + US Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work + Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

• Preferred Qualifications:

• + Experience in inspection of building construction + Experience in performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting fields test + Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction + CTQP Final Estimates Level

The range for this position is $32 to $50.
