This is a field-based, performance-driven role with a clear path to full-time income, advanced certifications, and specialized inspection services. Inspectors operate within a designated service area across the Chicagoland region, with jobs assigned based on availability and proximity. What You'll Do Perform residential inspections in accordance with state, industry, and company standards Document findings using company-provided software and tools Capture detailed photos and complete professional inspection reports (same day or within 24 hours) Communicate clearly with clients and internal team members Maintain equipment, tools, and a professional appearance Manage scheduling, availability, and inspection workload Compensation & Earnings Commission-based pay Paid training Mileage reimbursement Reimbursement for approved expenses, licensing, and workwear Bonus opportunties Training & Development Structured onboarding and field training (first 90 days) InterNACHI membership provided (continuing education included) Hands-on ride-alongs and mentorship Ongoing coaching and quality reviews Growth & Advancement Top-performing inspectors can expand into higher-earning services, including: Commercial inspections Advancement is based on performance, training completion, and certification. Requirements Active home inspector license (or ability to obtain) Strong attention to detail and professionalism Reliable transportation and clean vehicle Smartphone and comfort with technology Ability to work independently in the field Willingness to maintain continuing education Physical Requirements This is an active, field-based role requiring: Climbing ladders, stairs, and walking on roofs Entering attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas Bending, kneeling, and crawling Lifting up to 50 lbs Working in varying weather conditions You must be able to safely perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
