Building Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and contract specifications.
• Perform data collection and analysis to assess the quality of construction work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to verify adherence to design plans.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to address any issues or concerns identified during inspections.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that construction materials and methods meet industry standards.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction inspection or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects in construction work.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders.
