This is an entry level inspection position that is responsible for conducting inspections, verifying compliance with Municipal Building Codes and related ordinances, and supporting safe electrical practices. This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Microsoft Office Suite Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be a licensed Journeyman Electrician. Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas driver's license and city insurable driving record. Please review the Insurability Guidelines. Must obtain an Electrical Inspector Certification within 18 months of the date of hire. Additional licenses or certifications may be required.

Entry rate of pay:
