JOB DUTIES

Performs responsible and skilled inspection of mechanical installations and heating installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with Michigan Mechanical Code. Discussed questions and problems with homeowners, business owners, contractors and other interested parties. Writes code violation notices when necessary and proceeds with court action procedures if violations are not corrected.

HOURS:

40 per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Journeyman License is required. Ability to become registered with the State of Michigan as an Inspector and Plan Reviewer, pursuant to Act 54 of 1986/Act 407 of 2016. Minimum five years experience in the installation of heating systems is required.

SALARY:

$73,188 - $84,817 (top) annually - Based upon experience, skills and qualifications Benefit Package Available after probation.
