Location:
1010 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 KMA Consulting Engineers, Inc. (KMA) is seeking a SUE Technician to join our growing survey group. KMA is seeking an experienced candidate with a strong ability to take initiative and exemplify leadership qualities and adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck safely and efficiently and perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the vacuum excavation truck and related equipment. Be able to designate and locate a variety of underground utilities Follow established safety protocols in all field operations Understand basic traffic control procedures and the hazards associated with working in and around active traffic
Qualification:
Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and maintain it in good standing throughout employment Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Basic mechanical/truck maintenance knowledge is a plus but not required Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Travel:
Occasional need to drive/travel to work sites (mostly day travel within NJ, with the possibility for some overnight travel to adjoining states). Must have a valid driver's license. Company vehicles will be made available.
