Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30
PM Position Overview:
This position provides broad support to assigned projects and operations by helping coordinate activities, maintain documentation, monitor progress, and support compliance with organizational standards and client requirements. This role contributes to the efficient execution of work through communication, recordkeeping, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Inspect all construction materials to be used at the site to ensure compliance with the Plans and Specifications. Inspect all construction activities to ensure quality of workmanship. Maintain daily records of the numbers and classification of workers employed by the Contractors using the Authority's CapEx Manager System. Prepare daily reports of all construction and engineering fieldwork using the Authority's CapEx Manager System. Prepare and forward to the Authority weekly quantity summaries for each item of the contract, with an appropriate format. Maintain records covering running totals of quantities and costs while construction is in progress. Maintain daily records of the type and size of equipment used on all construction operations using the Authority's CapEx Manager System. Review traffic protection procedures. Review and coordinate submittals as required per the Plans and Specifications. Attend meetings or conferences as directed by the Authority. Perform tests required to ensure material compliance with the Plans and Specifications. Perform additional project related duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college AND a minimum of 10 years of experience providing construction inspection services on projects involving facilities, structural repairs and upgrades. OR Active NICET level III certification in Highway Construction AND a minimum of 10 years of experience providing construction inspection services on projects involving facilities, structural repairs and upgrades.

MS Office Adobe Acrobat Soft Skills:
Strong communication and written skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
