Certified Welding Inspector

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for a large AEC firm in Albany, NY to support construction and infrastructure projects through field inspection and quality assurance of welded components. The inspector will perform visual weld inspections, verify compliance with AWS codes and project specifications, review drawings, and document findings in detailed reports. This role requires regular coordination with engineers, project managers, and contractors to address quality issues and ensure structural integrity. Candidates must hold an active AWS CWI certification, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working on active construction sites. If the candidate possesses addition ICC Certificates, they can also spend time working closely with Engineering Technicians throughout the different projects in the area.
