Position Summary:
Are you a relentless hunter who thrives on closing deals and winning new business? Do you get a rush from outbound dialing, face-to-face meetings, and sealing the deal? If so, Select Exterminating Co. wants you on our team as a Residential & Commercial Pest Control Inspector / Account Executive. This role is designed for a driven salesperson who lives for the thrill of the chase. You'll be on the front lines, pounding the pavement and dialing prospects to generate both residential and commercial business. You'll be visiting properties, conducting inspections, and crafting tailored solutions that solve client problems. If you're competitive, fearless, and love building relationships, we want you!
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales & Prospecting:
  • Identify and target new residential and commercial business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Make outbound calls daily to generate leads, schedule site visits, and secure meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
  • Conduct in-person site visits to evaluate client needs, perform inspections, and build strong relationships.
Field Visits & Client Engagement:
  • Visit potential clients regularly to conduct inspections and demonstrate the value of our pest management solutions.
  • Present tailored proposals and service plans that address property-specific challenges for both homeowners and business operators.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture leads and convert them into long-term clients.
Sales Strategy & Deal Closure:
  • Craft persuasive presentations and proposals that win business.
  • Negotiate contracts while balancing client needs with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery once deals are closed.
Industry Expertise:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and local pest control regulations.
  • Leverage your knowledge to position Select Exterminating as the go-to provider for both residential and commercial pest control solutions.
  • Pest control experience is a bonus but not required—we value your sales drive and ambition above all.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of outbound sales success, particularly in field-based roles.
  • Hunter mentality: Driven to seek out and close new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and build rapport with clients in person.
  • CRM proficiency to track leads, client interactions, and deal progress.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Must reside in New York (5 Boroughs, Nassau, or Suffolk County, Long Island).
Compensation:
    Base Salary:
    $70,000
      Commission:
      10% on all new business generated
      • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $96,000 - $150,000
      Average Performer:
      Sells $500,000 of business annually

        Additional Information:
        • This role requires daily field work and in-person client interactions.
        • You will report to the Sales Director and work closely with our operations team to ensure exceptional client experiences.
