Company Overview CME Associates, Inc. (CME) is an engineering technology firm providing comprehensive Construction Materials Evaluation and Technical Support Services. Our experts specialize in geotechnical engineering, construction materials evaluation, special inspections, geological sciences, subsurface exploration, and investigative engineering. Summary Join our team as a Construction Inspector, providing essential inspections and material testing on high-profile commercial projects throughout the Greater Elmira, NY area. Help ensure compliance on some of the regions most exciting construction sites. Responsibilities Perform tests and inspections for soils, concrete, asphalt, reinforced concrete, masonry, welding & bolting, fireproofing & firestopping, geotechnical investigations, and more. Read construction drawings and specifications and correctly interpret test results. Complete assignment accurately and in accordance with appropriate established standards. Record and report test results in a clear, concise manner. Communicate regularly with project managers. Complete field data records and associated reports daily. Prepare for and complete continuing education for certifications through the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and International Code Council (ICC). Qualifications HS Diploma required. Degree in Civil Engineering / Technology, Geology, or related is ideal, although necessary. Must possess at least one International Code Council (ICC) Certification for one of the following
