Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an Electrical Inspector to join the $19.5 billion Redevelopment Program at JFK Airport. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for site safety, scheduling inspections, observing field testing, and commissioning of the airfield work. Job Duties and Responsibilities Schedule inspections, observation of field testing, and commissioning. Assists in the preparation and negotiations of construction change orders and the preparation of weekly / monthly project reports. Responsible for maintaining managing reports, daily narratives, quantities installed, classified logs and time and material tickets. Monitor Contractor's conformance with drawings and specifications. Monitor Contractor compliance with the Contractor's Safety and Health Plan and with specific safe work plans and ensures Contractor's compliance with the approved Contractor's Quality Plan. Prepare punch lists with the owner upon completion of the project. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. 1-5 years of experience working on electrical low voltage building projects. Prior aviation experience is preferred. Must possess an OSHA 30 before first day of employment.
