Position OverviewWere seeking a qualified technician to perform onsite Tenant Protection Plan Compliance (TPPC) inspections across NYC to ensure compliance and safety of building tenants. Youll prepare detailed reports, collaborate with project teams, and uphold safety on residential construction sites.
What Youll DoConduct TPPC inspections in accordance with
Verify contractor adherence to tenant protection plan (TPP) measures.
Document any unsafe conditions that violate the TPP, by escalating non-compliant or hazardous conditions to project management and senior inspection staff.
Issue written observations consistent with firm and DOB documentation standards.
Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and mobile devices such as smart phones or tablets.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel to multiple sites in NYC.Ability to climb stairs and laddersAbility to work in active construction environmentsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to interact professionally with building occupants and site personnel in occupied buildings.
Experience with Tenant Protection Plan Compliance inspections.
Work Environment & ScheduleDaily travel to multiple construction sites across the five boroughs of NYC.

at various residential construction sites across the five boroughs of NYC.Prepare and submit daily checklist reports via mobile devices.Verify contractor adherence to tenant protection plan (TPP) measures.
Document any unsafe conditions that violate the TPP, by escalating non-compliant or hazardous conditions to project management and senior inspection staff.
Issue written observations consistent with firm and DOB documentation standards.
Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
What Youll BringRequired:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry or related field.Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and mobile devices such as smart phones or tablets.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel to multiple sites in NYC.Ability to climb stairs and laddersAbility to work in active construction environmentsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to interact professionally with building occupants and site personnel in occupied buildings.
Preferred:
Supported scaffold certification and OSHA 10-hour training.Experience with Tenant Protection Plan Compliance inspections.
Work Environment & ScheduleDaily travel to multiple construction sites across the five boroughs of NYC.
Standard hours:
MondayFriday, 7:30 AM4:00 PMCompensation & BenefitsHourly range: $25.00 $30.00, based on knowledge, skills and experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision, insurance, and 401K plan with a match.
