CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR/RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE

Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday work
Job Summary:
This position is for an entry level or experienced Field Construction Inspector to perform Resident Project Representative (RPR) inspections for local construction projects. Job duties include monitoring on-site work performed by contractors, approving field change orders, documenting work performed and pay items, ensuring work is performed per project drawings and specifications, and acting as a liaison between engineer and contractor. Project mainly consists of utility work such as sanitary sewer and waterline rehabilitation and installation. Candidate will also be exposed to materials testing in the field including basic field concrete testing and soils and asphalt compaction testing. Candidates must possess strong communication, documentation, understanding of construction drawings and specifications, report writing skills, knowledge of basic math, and general knowledge of general construction work and construction safety. An associate's degree in engineering technology or construction management is preferred but not required. Interested candidates should forward there resume to the listed email address.
Compensation:
Highly competitive hourly rate plus benefits including health, vision, dental insurance, and 401(k). Employer will also assign a company vehicle to the canidate for company use.
