Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled in house Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality across our in house projects, focusing on structural steel inspections. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and contractual requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide varity of projects while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed quality control and quality inspection of welds on , structural steel, projects using industry-standard techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify compliance with design specifications. Collect and analyze data related to weld quality, materials, and construction processes to identify potential issues early. Review construction management plans and contracts to ensure all work aligns with project requirements. Document inspection findings accurately through reports, photographs, and detailed records for traceability and accountability. Qualifications Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from a recognized authority such as the American Welding Society (AWS). Proven experience in construction inspection, particularly within pipeline or large infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, and safety standards. Excellent analysis skills for evaluating welds, schematics, and technical documentation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Hands-on experience with inspection techniques. Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and working collaboratively across teams.
